Each quilt is handmade one at a time upon order. The fabric is cut, pieced, quilted, and bound in Canada. The art of quilting means that each quilt is unique and may vary slightly from the other. The beauty in the creation of patchwork quilts means that there is art even in the imperfections, giving you a truly one-of-a-kind quilt to love.

How the Process Works:

Thank you for entrusting me with the items of your loved one. I am humbled and honoured to turn your beloved memories into a keepsake quilt. I take great pride in knowing that your quilt will be cherished and bring comfort to you or a loved one.

1- Purchase your quilt: Select the best quilt for you and purchase on our website. We offer different layouts in multiple sizes to ensure the best personalized fit.

2-Prepare the items you want to be used for your quilt: Select the Garment you would like us to use in the quilt. To prolong the life of your quilt, it is best to make sure the items are not worn out. We are unable to use items with holes, but we may be able to cut around it and use the unworn part of the clothing. It is always best to send a few extra items in case one item is unusable. All uncut items will be returned with your finished quilt. All scraps will be discarded. PLEASE NOTE - We are not able to use items with lace, rhinestones, thick embroidered patches, waterproof material, or terry cloth fabric. To help us make the most special keepsake quilt, we ask that you divide your items in three different bags.

• One bag with items that must absolutely be included in the quilt.
• One bag with items you would like included in the quilt
• One bag with items to use if needed but is fine if not included.
  • All items should be uncut, washed and ironed if needed.

3- Mail in your items or drop off at one of our drop-off locations:

• Package all items in a box or mailler bag. Canada Post has flat rate shipping boxes that are a great option as it comes with insurance and tracking.
• Print off order condemnation or include order number, name, telephone number, and addresses in the box. We need to make sure we know who is sending us the items so we can match them to your order. Feel free to also include a note in the box describing who the quilt is for and what memory we are preserving. We love using this knowledge as inspiration when we’re creating your unique memory quilts.
• Mail in your items with a tracking number included. Keep tracking numbers with you and feel free to share with us. We are happy to keep an eye on your shipment.

4- Your unique keepsake! All items are cut, pieced, quilted, and binded into a keepsake memory quilt one order at a time. This procedure does increase our turnaround time, but we feel it is pivotal to offer the highest quality product. Once your items are received into our shop, they will be inventoried and you will receive a confirmation email with an approximate turnaround time, which can vary greatly depending on the time of year, but is usually 3-4 months. Feel free to check in with us before a purchase if you have a specific date in mind.

5-Receive your finished memory quilt made just for you! Completed and ready to snuggle, your memory quilt will be shipped from Nova Scotia and mailed back using Canada Post with a tracking number and $100 insurance. If you would like more insurance or to arrange alternative shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your order. The quilts come packaged and ready to gift, making them a great option for any occasion.

PLEASE NOTE: We appreciate that these memories hold a high sentimental value to our customers, which is why we use tracking numbers and insurance on orders when they are shipped. However, please keep in mind that we are not responsible should anything happen to your package during the shipping process.

I do not accept any returns on personalized items, but welcome all feedback.

Current turn around time is 3-4 months. if shirts are mailed before September 15th, quilt will be finished and mailed before December 10th.
